Q: How long will it take to receive my order?
A: Orders are generally shipped from our facility within 1-2 business days from the time your order is placed. We make every effort to ship your order as soon as possible, but do not assume that your order will ship the same day it is placed. We will notify you via email if any items in your order are on backorder or out of stock. FedEx Home Delivery time is estimated at 4-5 business days from the date of shipment; however, please understand that delivery time is not guaranteed unless you choose an express shipping method.
Q: Will I receive a tracking number with my order?
A: Yes, once FedEx has assigned a tracking number to your package, you will receive a separate email with your FedEx tracking number. Make sure to add muddlers@mojitocompany.com to your email address book to avoid missing this email and having it sent to your bulk or junk mail.
Q: I am placing an order from outside the United States - am I responsible for customs charges, taxes, or duties?
A: Yes. International shipping charges DO NOT INCLUDE any taxes or duties charged by your country. These charges will be collected when your order is delivered.
Q: How long does it take to get a response to a customer comment, email, or phone call?
A: We typically respond to email and customer comments within a few hours. We highly recommend that you email us rather than calling us because it will take longer to receive a response by telephone. Make sure to add muddlers@mojitocompany.com to your address book to avoid missing our email and having it sent to your bulk or junk mail.
Q: I am sending a gift. Do you include a receipt in the package?
A: No. We do not include pricing information in any gift package. If you have purchased an item that cannot be gift packaged and you do not want us to include the invoice in the package, please indicate this in the Comments box during the checkout. We never include your credit card number on our invoices and always strive to maintain our customers' privacy.
Q: Can I buy guarapo (sugar cane juice) at my local grocery store?
A: Sugar cane juice is not widely available in the U.S. It can sometimes be found in areas with large Latin American communities. One word of caution: not all sugar cane juice is equal. For example, some brands of guarapo have a flavor of caramel or tea leaves and should not be used to make mojitos.
